Our Approach to Every Matter
Every matter begins with a conversation. We ask you to tell us what you are facing — and we listen without interruption. Once we have a clear picture, we explain what the relevant legal framework looks like and what practical steps are typically involved. We do not recommend a particular service until we understand your situation.
For each engagement, we send a written scope of work before we begin. This sets out what we will do, what we will not do, and what the fee will be. We do not start until you have read it and are comfortable with what it says.
Throughout the matter, we send updates when there is something to report and brief notes after meetings. At the close of the matter, we send a summary of what was done and how the estate was settled, which families often find useful to have on record.
